Saturdays Adventure!

It was so hard to go out of town and hold off on grocery shopping when I see all these great deals. I did however buy some food in Texas and bring it back with me, because I couldn't resist the sale and yes, I traveled with my big binder full of coupons. I bought 2 bottles of Kraft Ranch for .08 cents each at WalMart while I was there and also baby food was on sale at Target while I was there so I bought some and brought it home. I am horrible, but I am a thrifty shopper and even being on vacation won't change that. We did a ton of clothes and jewelry shopping while I was in Texas and I found some amazing deals...so it's not just food that I try and save money on. Weston and Autumn came home from that trip with a whole new wardrobe.

We got back late Fri. night and so on Sat. I did all my grocery shopping for the next 2 weeks. I hurried through the ads and my coupons on Sat. morning, and off I went. I did pretty great!

At Albertsons I got 2 Cherry Pepsi's (not pictured), 2 packs of Resee's cups, Doritos, Capri-Sun, 3 Deli Select lunch meats, 3 deli-packed packs of chicken, 2 packs of ground beef, and a gallon of milk. I spent $31.57 and saved $20.


At Bashas I got 2 Skippy Peanut Butter, 2 Huggies diapers, Sara Lee bread, 2 Country Crock butter, dozen eggs, 2 Ragu spaghetti sauce, Vanilla Extract, 2 packs of shredded cheese, pack of sliced cheese, block of cheese, Garlic Bread, Pillsbury Pizza Dough, Nestle morsels, 2 Dole fruit cups, and 2 Country Crock rice sides. I spent $40.76 and saved $47.06.

Fry's (part of the Kroger chain) is where I saved big time!
I got 2 Red Baron pizzas, 3 Red Baron Deep Dish Singles pizzas, dozen eggs, Playtex tampons, French Fries, Electrosol Dish Gel Tabs, Shick Intuition Razor, 3 Frenchs Mustard, 3 Sweet Baby Ray BBQ Sauce, 3 Windex, 3 Shout, and 3 Hunts Ketchup. I spent $34.49 and saved $73.54!!
