Pictsweet Recall at Kroger and Walmart

If you get frozen vegetables at Kroger and/or Walmart, this recall may affect you! Pictsweet has recalled frozen vegetables that contain peas in their varieties made under the Great Value and Kroger labels. It is a voluntary recall due to possible contamination with glass fragments!

You may take any bags you have back to the store for a full refund if you have any of the following:

Egg Recall

Yikes – did you see the egg recall? I think I last heard over 3 million eggs were recalled for possible salmonella contamination.

Look for Eggs are packed in 6- 12- or 18-egg cartons with Julian dates ranging from 136 to 225 and plant numbers 1026, 1413, and 1946. Lucerne, Albertson, Mountain Dairy, Ralph’s, Boomsma’s, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms, and Kemps.

Tylenol Recall Expanded

The Tylenol Recall has also been expanded to include more products due to a musty or moldy smell. Some of the products included are: Benadryl, Children’s Tylenol, Motrin IB, Tylenol Extra Strength, Tylenol Day & Night, and Tylenol PM.

Recall- Chicken of the Sea

A limited amount of Chicken of the Sea Solid White Tuna (12-oz. cans) are being recalled during to a production error that resulted in loose seals and seams. Loose seals, or seams, could result in product contamination by spoilage organisms or by pathogens and lead to illness if consumed. There have been no reported illnesses at this time.

The products being recalled were distributed in February and May in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Utah, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine, Colorado, Indiana, California and Oregon. Affected products have the UPC code 4800000262. Best By Date of 2/10/2014. Product codes to look for (on the can or on the label): 7OA1E ASWAB, 7OA2E ASWAB, 7OA3E ASWAB, 7OA4E ASWAB, 7OA5E ASWAB, 7OAEE ASWAB or 7OAFE ASWAB.

Scope Mouth Wash Recall

Proctor & Gamble has issued a voluntary recall of Scope Original Mint Mouthwash due to faulty child safety caps. From CPSC “This recall involves some bottles of Scope® Original Mint Mouthwash in 1 liter sizes. The recalled bottles have the number 4 on the bottom of the bottle. The bottles with the 4 on the bottom may not be child-resistant. Consumers can also attempt to twist the cap open. If the cap can be twisted off without squeezing the tabs on the cap, the package is not child-resistant.”

I know a lot of you have picked up boxes of Kellogg’s Cereal with sales and coupons, so I wanted to pass this information on to you. Kellogg’s has issued a voluntary recall of select packages of Kellogg’s Corn Pops, Honey Smacks, Froot Loops, and Apple Jacks.

Children’s Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec, Benadryl Recall

Recalls can always be frustrating in general but most especially when you have a nice stockpile of these particular products – I can raise my hand for having almost all of them in my child’s medicine cabinet.
Children’s Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec, and Benadryl have been recalled. Either for having too much or too little of the activite ingredient needed. No reports have been made of a child getting sick from the medicine, rather it was a decision the company made to pull them back off the shelves and from the homes.
