Safeway- 2 New Coupon Booklets

Safeway shoppers, be on the lookout for two new coupon booklets. Head on over to Frugal Living NW for the rundown of all the great coupons you’ll find inside each one.

Safeway- Cheerios for $.39 a Box

There’s a great deal at Safeway through Sunday (1/10) to get Cheerios for just $.39 a box. Here’s what you do:

Buy 3 Boxes of Cheerios at $1.49 each

Use 3 $.55/1 printable coupons

Final Price = $1.17 (or $.39 a box)

You need to buy 3 boxes of cereal to get the $1.49 per box price. Safeway should double these coupons (my store doubles up to $.99 face value). If you are unable to print out three coupons (you may need two computers), you’ll find a $1/1 printable coupon for Cheerios here and here.

These are great finger foods for babies/toddlers!

What I love about this shopping trip is I only used 2 coupons, everything else was from checking the ad for great prices. Usually I hand over a handful of coupons, but it felt weird to just give her two. But what good savings for only 2 coupons!

Friday Shopping at Safeway

I didn't take a picture of this one. It was the first grocery store I hit today and all my grocery lists were on the same paper. So when I went to put my groceries in the car I realized I no longer had the paper. So instead of retracing my steps I just ran home and put everything away and hurried to make another list of my two other stops.

SO! I bought:

Fruit Loops: on sale for $2.50, used a coupon buy FruitLoops get $1 off a gallon milk
2 gallons of Lucerne Milk, on sale for $1.39 each ($1 coupon used from the fruit loops coupon)
6 Coca-Cola 2 Liter Products: On sale buy 3 get 3 Free. (We don't drink soda around my place, but the holidays are coming up, people will be having get togethers, and I will always offer to bring drinks! :)

I spent: $18.92 and saved: $14.77 ( I only saved 44%, but my savings from the other two stores, totally make up for it!)

Did you notice I only used 1 coupon? Still great savings!

***Note- everything I buy when I go grocery shopping is on sale. When I put that I bought something "on sale" it's telling you I bought it without a coupon because it's a great price. Stuff bought with coupons is also on sale...I just list the sale price and post the coupons used in conjuction with the sale.***
