Free Chores Kit from CurrClick: CurrClick is offering a free download of a kit entitled Agent: Chores. This kit is designed to encourage children to make their chores into special missions, and gives them a Chore Special Agent ID Badge, wallet, and top-secret mission cards in order to complete their “daily chore missions”.
Free Virtual Field Trip from Scholastic: Scholastic is offering a free virtual field trip to the Plimoth Plantation based on a live webcast that was broadcast earlier this week. Kids will have the opportunity to compare the culture of the Pilgrims and the Wampanoags to the culture and customs of modern day life. Scholastic also has lesson plans available for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 to extend this lesson into a more detailed unit study.
