My MoneyMaker Trip to Target

I got paid to shop at Target tonight! I am still trying to catch up on previous shopping trips but this trip was awesome and can't wait!

I bought:
2 Rolaids 3 packs- $1.32 each, used $4 off 2 coupon (left over $1.36 applied toward total)
2 St. Ives Lotions- $1 each, used 2 $1 off coupons
4 Purina Party Mix Cat Treats- on sale $1.24 each, used 2 $2 off 2 manufacturer coupon and 2 $1 off Target coupons (left over $0.52 applied towards total)
4 Purina Whisker Lickin' Cat Treats- on sale $1 each, used 2 $1 off 2  manufacturer coupons, and 2 $1 off Target coupons (making all FREE)
2 Cheez-Its- on sale $2 each, used 2 $0.75 off coupons
3 Fudge Shoppe Cookies- on sale $2 each, used $1 off 3 Target coupon, and $1 off 2 manufacturer coupon

Recieved a $5 Gift Card for buying 5 participating items.

I SPENT: $4.50 and SAVED: $27.80. I was shocked they didn't revalue some of my coupons which game me overages on my items. So with my $5 Gift Card, I made $0.50 on this trip!

After I put my stuff in the car I decided to go back in and look at the kids clothes and see if there were any clearances I couldn't pass up that I could use my gift card on. I ended up using my gift card on this purchase:

I bought 5 Kids T-Shirts: on clearance for $1.50 each
Jean Shorts: on sale for $4.98

I used my $5 gift card from my previous purchase and spent $8.52 on all these clothes and saved: $17.50! I LOVE Target!!

  1. Now that's what a great shopping trip is suppose to be!!! Awesome!! I'm happy that you did so great!! You should get a kitten for the kids for christmas...you're already stocked with treats

  2. Yikes! No pets for us. Autumn would love a cat, but we want a dog...Drew doesn't do cat's, he had bad experiences with one or two when he was younger. I donate all the pet food/treats that I get for super cheap to shelters or my sister (who is a social worker and gives to families she oversees).
