I realize that this is a public site, and it's easy to take information posted here and post it on your own individual sites. While I don't mind that you share fun and exciting things with your friends I do mind when people don't get credit.
Anytime someone corrects me on a post or informs me on a great deal I post about it, and then give credit to those who mentioned it to me. It's the kind and courteous thing to do.
It's the same as writing a paper, you have to list sources if the original material presented is in no means your own creation, whether it's word for word or summarized.
So please, if on your blog, or website you post about something you found on here first, or on anyone else's site's- please give credit were credit is due.

I was wondering what you were referring to, so I looked at my site and looked at yours and found that we both had the Home Made Simple coupon book. If that is what you were referring to, I didn't find it on your site, I found it on another site yesterday. Sometimes you post so much, I don't get to look at everything so I missed it. :) And if this is what you were referring to, Sorry!
ReplyDeleteOh no! It wasn't you. I have debated on posting this for awhile because someone else did it awhile ago.
ReplyDeleteOh ok. I wasn't sure. You had posted this the same day I posted those coupons so I thought maybe that was what you were talking about. I had saw those coupons in several places and didn't think it was worth crediting. I try my best to let everyone know where I got my ideas and recipes from. Sometimes I can't remember though, b/c I got them so long ago. Thanks for clearing it up though. I'm glad I said something though. I probably would have continued to think you were talking about me! :)
ReplyDeleteI say "though" a lot, don't I? LOL
ReplyDeleteJust weird timing on my part. :) Now that you point it out "though" is mentioned a lot in your posts. :) I am glad you said something.
