MY SAVINGS

I am still saving money when I go shopping, I just haven’t take pictures the last few times, and then I get too excited when I check my email and so I start to post all these other blog posts about free or cheap things, and I forget to talk about my savings which is why I started this blog in the first place!

Anyways- I can’t remember the last time I blogged about my grocery savings, so I will just recap with the last couple of trips, I don’t have pictures of two of them. I remember my in-laws were here wanting to go out to eat, so when I got home I put the groceries away and walked out the door. (Fancy that- I buy food and then we went out to eat. Defeats the purpose of purchasing groceries huh?)

8/22 ALBERTSONS:
I bought 2 goldfish cracker packs, 4 cans of tuna, 1 sour cream, 1 Nestle morsels, 3 steaks (buy 1 get 2 free!), ground beef, Tyson Chicken, 4 shredded cheese, Bratwurst, 4 Lunchables, Cantaloupe, and Bananas.
I spent: $43.66 and I saved: $61.16

8/22 FRY’S:
I bought 2 Quaker granola bars, 3 Quaker True Delights, Fiber One Bars, Wanchai Ferri Orange Chicken, Wanchai Ferri Sweet and Sour Chicken, 2 Green Giant Vegetable cans, Tyson Chicken, 2 Gushers, 2 Pillsbury Grand Biscuits, 2 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, Red pepper, Green pepper, 2 Dole Salads, avocado, 2 packs of fun size 100 Grand, 3 Green Giant Frozen Vegetables, 2 Bar S Hotdogs, 8 Gerber 2nd Food jars, 10 Beechnut baby food jars.
I spent: $41.34 and saved: $ 59.86

FRY’S: (I needed two pictures)

3 Dannon Light&Fit Yogurts, Gerber Cereal, Gerber Oatmeal, Beechnut Cereal, 3 Duncan Hines Brownie mixes, 2 Mission tortillas, 2 La Victoria Salsa, 6 Gerber Fruit Puffs Snacks, Loaf of Bread, Lays Potato Chips, Bounty Paper Towels, 4 Reese's Cup packs, Dixie Napkins, 2 dozen eggs, Dole Salad Blend, 3 packs of cheese, 2 Hefty Freezer bags, 2 Dole Pineapple, Frenchs Mustard, 2 gallons of milk, Dial Liquid Soap, 4 BarS Hotdogs, Soft Soap Cleaner, 2 Kraft Mayo, 18 jars of Gerber baby food, 3 2packs of Gerber baby food, and 6 jars of Beechnut baby food. I spent: $60.50 and saved: $80.05

ALBERTSONS: (this was the BIG savings!)

I bought 3 Similac ready made formulas, 2 Nestle Good Start Powdered Formulas, Nursery Water, 2 Arrowhead sparkling waters, 2 Jello gelatin packs, 3 Manwich, an Avocado, and a Colgate Toothbrush. I spent:$7.71 and saved: $50.87 My savings were awesome because of the coupons I had for formula (thank you Kristine!).
