Todays Shopping!!

I was so excited to go to Bashas, not only is it a local chain (puts money back into our local economy) but this week they doubled coupons up to $2. Which meant...instead of my coupons being doubled up to a dollar (i.e. my .75 cent coupon becomes a $1 coupon, or my .55 cent coupon actually doubles to $1...) I got to use my .75 cent coupons to get $1.50 off items, and any of my coupons that were $1 off and greater (but below $2) were doubled to $2 off. I told Drew I would need about an hour to just walk up and down every aisle. And I did. But I scored big time!

Yesterday I went to Bashas and scored all of this:

I got Banquet Chicken Nuggets, 3 Barilla dry Pasta, California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza, 4 Chef Boyarde Ravioli cans, 2 David's sunflower seeds, Healthy Choice Sweet and Sour Chicken, 3 Hunt's Snack Pack Puddings, Hunts Ketchup, 2 Kotex pantiliners, 2 Kotex pads, Lean Pockets, Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Jose Ole Taquitos, 2 Orville Redenbacher popcorn, Peter Pan Peanut Butter, Reddi Wip Topping, 10 boxes of Scotties Tissue, 2 Tabasco, WishBone Spritzer Ranch Dressing, Weber seasoning pack, Yoplait Fiber One yogurt, Glucerna Cereal Bars, and McCormick Hamburger Seasoning.

What did I spend? $42.58. I saved: $74.14 (I almost saved twice what I spent...)

Today I went to Fry's (Kroger) and walked out with all of this: (it took two pictures)

I got: A1 Steak Sauce, California Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza, Kraft BBQ sauce, 11 Healthy Choice Entrees, 4 Healthy Ones lunch meat packs, 6 Oscar Mayer hot dogs, 2 Quaker granola bars, 19 jars of Gerber baby food, 2 loaves of Sara Lee Bread, 10 Kool-Aid packets, 2 gallons of milk, 2 dozen eggs, 2 Hebrew National bologna (for Staci...I don't eat bologna!), Steak, 5 Deli Creation sandwiches, cantalope, 3 packs of shredded cheese, and 2 Country Time Lemonade.

I spent: $69.77 and saved: $86.87

My two favorite days?? Wednesday when the ads come out, and Fri. When Drew gets paid! (I know- I live a sad life...but Greys Anatomy is over for the summer and I stay home with 2 kids...I need something to look forward to!)
